Why can't I find a groove?

It seems as though blogging has just about fallen off my radar & I have no idea why. I used to love to do it & then I discovered facebook. I have blogged very little since then & it didn't really matter because most of my readers are friends with me there. I have found lately that I miss blogging and I still can't seem to find a groove. I either don't have time, don't have anything to write about or just don't feel like it. I can't even seem to find time to do a wordless wednesday post....hello.....it's only a picture!

I am going to try (in a separate post) to upload a video of Callee that is all ready on facebook, but didn't have any luck yesterday. It is really cute, but shows off the child's attitude.

Here are some things on my mind:

  • Why does it seem like all parents are in a competition?
  • Shouldn't we be encouraging one another rather than judging?
  • Why does everyone feel the need to give their opinion on every.little.thing you do? Sometimes (which REALLY irks me) they just give it to others behind your back & when you confront/ask them about it they look like deer in the headlights.
  • I am signing Callee up for a hip hop class in the fall (say what you want, but read bullet #2)
  • Taylor has 11 days left of school! This year has flown by & I'll be thankful for no homework for a couple of months.
  • Taylor is playing tball again & doing awesome! She is actually stopping balls this year & throwing them where they need to go. Last year she watched them roll right by & hoped the next kid would get it.
  • Today is my little (24) brothers birthday so happy birthday Josh.
  • I am usually really excited for my birthday & have a countdown at the beginning of May, but not this year. I am dreading it, it's one year closer to 30 which I am having a really hard time with....again say what you will, but read point 3!
  • My brother just texted me (literally) 53 more weeks til the big 3-0! I don't like that boy some days!
  • I am tired....like really tired! I have no interest in anything I used to & have no idea why, but it is driving me crazy!
  • There are certain people that no matter how hard I try to not let them bother me, just the sound of their name raises my blood pressure 50 points! We do not go to ANYthing for Mike's family anymore because of this and it really stinks! Mike's family (for the most part) are awesome and I really do miss hanging out with all of them, but we can't if some of them will be there & I will not tell someone to not invite them....they don't seem to be too understanding about this though.

I guess that's it for now...I'm hoping that soon I'll be blogging again or reading or getting back into any hobby I used to enjoy!

Hope you all are having a FANTASTIC hump day.

One other point, this Friday, May 21 Taylor's class is retrying their field trip....they can't go where they were oringinally going, but are going somewhere else....she's really nervous about it (the bus trip) so please say a prayer for her. It's funny to me because she has no issue getting on the bus for school so you must only associate the accident with the field trip. I am hoping her anxiety will calm down before then. She's been praying since last Wednesday when we found out about the rescheduling "Please God, don't let our bus get into another accident." So sweet & yet heart wrenching.

I've nearly stopped blogging too due to Facebook. LOL I still try and post at least once a week. I even forgot to post about my son's birthday! Bad MOMMY!!!

Hip Hop is FUN! Bug hates it but I love it and am hoping to join an adult class in the fall. As long as they keep it relatively "clean" with the little ones, I'm all for it.

My kids are out of school in 2 days!! OY! Where did this year go?

Hang in there sweetie. You know where to find me if you need to talk!

Hope this week is going better than the last. Life does get quite nuts sometimes. Just go with the flow and do what needs to be done and thn do what makes you happy. If bloggin isn't a thing that makes you happy put it off for awhile.

I do check to see if you have a post up all the time though. I like reading your blog. You do have a lovely little family.

Angela, thank you...I do love my little family...sometimes I wish it could be our little family ONLY! It would make it so much easier, no fighting, bickering, hating each other, just us in our little corner of the world.
