Weekend Top 5

Well this weekend was pretty low key so one of these will be from today rather than this weekend.

1. Grocery shopping with Grandma. Friday my mom was off for Veteran's day (they make their own day off and get a long weekend.) Callee was sick so she watched the girls and later when I went to pick them up I had to go grocery shopping and she came along too. My girls were so excited - they love their grandma.
2. Saturday morning I took Taylor for her blood work. Afterwards, I took her to lunch since she did such a good job. It was a really nice time spent with her and I am so glad we did it.
3. After lunch we went home to take a nap. Callee and I slept for over 2 hours and Taylor slept for about 3 1/2 hours. She had a hard time falling asleep Saturday night so we skipped her nap on Sunday so Callee and I took a nap while Mike and Taylor hung out.
4. My grandfather (Peaches) went into the hospital Friday morning and needed a blood transfusion and to run some tests to see what the problem was. I found out last night that he has cancer in his bladder, colon and liver. This is not the greatest news and I pray he goes peacefully. I do not want to see him suffer.
5. Today is Mike's birthday! Happy birthday to a wonderful husband and an even better father. We are so proud of you for going to school full time and working full time. You are a wonderful provider and seem to balance things pretty well. Only a year and a half left and then hopefully our crazy life will go back to "normal." We miss you every day, but we understand and we love you more than words can express.
