Weekends fly by

Another quick weekend is gone. We had such a care free relaxing weekend and it was so nice.

Saturday the girls and I got up and ate breakfast and then they had time with their cartoons while I cleaned the house a little. Then we did bath time and went outside. After coming back in it was time for them to take naps and I headed to the grocery store. I woke Mike up to let him know I was leaving and to listen for them to wake up. The poor guy had to work until 3 a.m. on Friday night. When I got home the girls were still sleeping so Mike and I started to watch Monk that we had DVR'd and I got a headache so I took one of my new pills the doctor gave me for migraines. This pill knocked me out for 3 hours! It was a lovely nap, but it knocked the rest of my day out of whack when I woke up 3 hours later.

Taylor then went to my parents to play with my niece and nephew and we headed to his moms house for a short visit and some dinner. It was nice and then we headed home to get Callee ready for bed. I went and picked Taylor up from my parents house around 9:30, but didn't leave their house until after 10 because they had a fire and we made smores while I was there. When I got home, I got Taylor into bed and got a shower.

Sunday we got up, got breakfast and baths and then headed to church. After church their was a picnic lunch for the end of bible school ceremony and then we went home to give Callee a nap. We stopped by my grandma's house and then Taylor went to my parent's house to play again. I went home and when Callee got up I took her over there for a little while to play too. When we went home we just hung out and played and then got ready for bed. It was a good weekend, but I almost shut my alarm off this morning because I forgot it was Monday all ready and I thought there was no way possible I had to go back to work so soon.

This week shouldn't be so jam packed at work so I should be posting much more regularly. My week should also be much calmer. I don't have too much planned after work and my dad works till 3 all week so he'll stop on his way home and pick up my kids from daycare which saves me about an hour after work all week. Have I mentioned lately how great my parents are? They really are. If they can help any of their kids in any way, they will without hesitation. I truly am lucky to have them for parents (you wouldn't have caught me dead saying this 10 years ago!)

I hope everyone has a good week!

Sounds like the new migraine meds are working even if they do knock you out. Glad you had a great weekend. You are very lucky to have parents near by! :-)

Have a fantastic week!

I'm glad you had a good weekend and I hope this week goes smoothly for you! I'm at the lake and heading home this afternoon - will come back to the lake on Thursday. Sorry I've not been around much lately - I've had lots going on, but it seems like things might be settling down around here too - hopefully.

Have a good day - see you - Kellan

It sounds like you got some much needed rest. I just taped 5 new shows today, so I can relax a little bit. Have a great week. (:
