It is Friday. Hopefully the day goes pretty quickly. I have a pretty busy Saturday, but nothing really on Sunday.
Taylor has to get her hair cut on Saturday morning and in the early afternoon I am going with a friend of mine to see Sex and the City. Yes, I love this show. I never watched it when it was on because we didn't have HBO, but after the series ended the friend that I am going to the movie with had bought all the seasons. She thought it was a crime that I hadn't seen this show so she gave me the seasons and told me to watch them. I did and I was hooked, I still watch it every weeknight from 11 - 12. When I found out they were coming out with the movie a year ago I called her and told her to not make any plans because we had a date. So our date is tomorrow and I can't wait to see it. Have any of you seen it? Did you like it? Don't tell me about it, but I'd like to know if it was a disappointment or if it was good.
Later in the afternoon a girl from work has her open house. She is the daughter of the bosses girlfriend so I pretty much have to go. I figure it's free food, but I won't really know anyone there. The other part time girl is going at the same time as me so it won't be so weird for either of us. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
Sunday I plan on cleaning my house and doing laundry. We have no AC and it is supposed to be 88 - 94 all weekend including today so cleaning and laundry should be fun and sweaty! Spring just skipped right over us. We seriously went from high 50's - low 60's to high 80's - low 90's. What a shock to the body, but I was ready for the warm weather to start.
I hope you all enjoy your weekend and I'll let you all know if I liked the movie or not (if you're interested) on Monday.

Sounds like a busy weekend ahead! Enjoy
I wish I was going to the movies with you all tomorrow afternoon - I'm stuck here doing major outdoor chores with the hubby and kids.
I hope you have a fun weekend - see you soon - Kellan
Have a great week-end! :o)
Why don't you have any AC? Is it broken? We'd die (almost literally) without it here!
Hope you have fun on Saturday. I was not into SATC so I am not planning to see the moive. I hope you enjoy it though!
I am taking Bug to get her haircut tomorrow too. I will post before and after pics!
Have a great one!
About 20 minutes ago I read this post over at bloglines and thought Now there ya go.. DVD of SATC. So I got up off the computer and drove to block buster hoping to get season 1.. wouldn't you know it It's not in.. I don't have HBO either so I never watched it when it was on.. but when they started showing it on TBS I started watching it here and there if it was on and I had nothing to do and I really liked the show.. Now with the movie out I thought I would like to see it.. ONLY I don't have a clue if I should watch all the season's 1st. But since the kids are all over at grandmas for a night or two and DH is working 3rd shift this week, I'll be home alone with nothing to do tonight.. So I thought why not get season one and watch from the beginning.. but like I said it was out.. So I am just by passing season one and jumping in on season two. There are alot of season of this show and I never knew a thing about it at all when it was on HBO because I don't pay attention to that.. So now I have alot of caughting up to do LOL.
How did you make it though the weekend.. IT WAS SOOOOOOOOOOO HOT.. when I went to get groceries this afternoon it was 99 outside.. Goodness that without air I think I would die.. we have a very old like 35 year old central air unit which is on it's last legs.. in normal summer temps it keeps the indoor temp where I set it.. Well today I set it at 77 so you would think it would be 77 in my house.. but NOPE with it so hot outside the poor thing can't keep up and we are at about 80 indoors.. but that is still better then the 99 outside.. I'm sure your house is well over 100 right now.. UGH.. hope you are finding some way to stay cool.
No ac! Wow! We would literally die here! We've already come close to 100 degrees and it's only June!
