An Award and good bye 2007

I was given this award by Shana way back on December 20 and I am just now getting around to thanking her and passing it on. I am a little behind but thank you Shana I really do appreciate it. Now I need to pass it on and I'm going to pass it on to two people. Laura is an amazing person who through her grief has taught me a lot and I think her blog is bodacious! I'm also going to pass it on to KC. I really enjoy reading her blog every day and look to the great posts about her family. You ladies definitely deserve this!

Now to say goodbye to 2007. I started this blog this year and I'm so glad I did. I have met a lot of women who I would consider friends even though they live so far away. I love being able to document my kids lives and share special things with some loved ones that moved away (that's why this originally began.) I hope my blog continues to grow in 2008 and I hope I continue with the friendships I have formed and who knows, maybe even meet a few more. So ladies, a toast to all of you that I have met in 2007 and the ones I will meet in 2008. I hope you all have a safe and happy new year.

By the way, Taylor's room was started but not finished so I'll post pics on Wednesday after they move all of her stuff back in her room!

Oh, I can't wait to see Taylor's room! Thank you so very much for the award. I am honored and can never seem to find the right words to convey that. I am so grateful that I met you this year. It is my blog that has kept me sane the past four months. It is my lifeline, my proof that there is a world still outside these walls, and I thank you for letting us into yours. You are a terrific wife and mom. It shows in your writing. Happiest of New Years wishes to you and your beautiful family.
