Don't get me wrong I love my kids, but there are some nights & tonight is definitely one of those nights. There have been a lot of arguments & tears & I can tell you what the result is going to be...an early bedtime!
They have fought the last few nights to go to bed & then they are up at the crack of dawn too. It started when they stayed at Mike's moms Saturday night & are now caught in the vicious "I'm so tired, but I'm going to fight sleep anyways" cycle.
I started this post at 6:45 & it is now 7:45 & they are in bed, but I'm sure they'll be up 5 more times before actually falling asleep. Then they'll be up bright & early before my alarm goes off & it'll be another weepy day tomorrow. My poor mom gets the brunt of it. I am hoping to break this cycle this weekend & get my rotten, happy kids back.
We did have some good moments though. I was Callee's baby for a while. She must be an elderly mother though because her "baby" (me) had to give her a bath. Then Taylor & I played Go Fish & I won for the second night in a row. She is a really good loser. No yelling, pouting or fits about it. This is a very good thing because she starts t-ball next month.
Well American Idol is on so I'm gonna watch that & hope I get in bed early tonight.

Good luck with that. We actually slept through the night last night! Don't know what tonight is going to be like, Alex has another loose tooth!
