Good Times

Last night was a pretty busy night. I got home from work and put dinner in the oven, then Julie came over and cut the girls' hair, then it was into the bathtub for them. After bath we fed them, dried their hair and then we had to go out to Mike's work and pick up his check. Have I mentioned Mike's been on vacation this week and how nice it's been (for the most part?)

Next week is going to be a slap in the face right back to reality though. The week of Christmas Mike didn't have school and worked dayturn. The week of New Year's he still didn't have school so the girls stayed home with him in the morning and then he took them to my mom's when he went to work. Then he still had a very long weekend that has led into his vacation this week. Three weeks of him being around and then he goes back to work next week (started school again this week) and we will be slammed back to reality. I'm trying not to think about that now though.

While we were going to get Mike's check he was talking to the girls about the two old cell phones he found while cleaning out the basement and gave to the girls to play with. The batteries are gone, they do not have sim cards so I am thinking they are not going to call 911 repeatedly from them. Anyways, Callee had brought hers with us and Taylor was wanting to play with it because she hadn't brought hers. Mike explained to her that neither him or Callee were responsible for Taylor losing her cell phone. Taylor said she didn't lose it, it was just upstairs. Then you hear a little voice (okay Callee's voice isn't really little, but it's for effect people) say, "It not upstairs Taylor, I frew it in the garbage!" Of course Taylor starts crying and Callee keeps egging her on telling her that the frog of Taylor's that has been lost for about 2 weeks now, she frew that in the garbage too. My 2 1/2 year old is a bully.

So here are a couple pictures that I have taken recently. Enjoy and enjoy your Thursday!

The rest you will have to wait and see in my new header. I just e-mailed her the pictures so it may be a little while, but I should have my new header soon!

She's not a bully...just trying to assert her independence. At least, that's what I keep telling myself every time my four year old acts bossy.

It's always hard to get back into the swing of things.
How much longer does Mike have in school?

"I frew it in the garbage"...that's hilarious. Sounds like something my kids would do (despite being a good 10 years older than yours) and beleive me, when mine do it...not so funny!

I love the pink bow and bob. My girls both got the same hair cut this week. So sweet, no?
