Well it's Friday and yes I am excited for a new weekend, but at the same time I am a little sad. You see Mike has been on day turn all week this week so we have been a normal family once again and it has been great. The girls have not acted up hardly at all which tells me when they do, their dad being gone could play a huge part in that. I'm going to try to keep that in mind and just hug them a little tighter when it happens again.
Tonight we are doing a popcorn/movie night with the girls since they were so well behaved again this week. Ashley is coming into town on Saturday and I'm expecting another wonderful visit with her. Saturday morning before Taylor's dance class she is going to have her blood work done. She has to fast for her blood work so we couldn't have it done during the week. She does not want to have this done so I told her if she did it and was a big girl about it we would go to McDonald's for breakfast (one of her favorites, like father, like daughter I guess.) Then we'll go to dance and then hang out with Ashley the rest of the day. We never plan anything and yet we usually do so much while she's here.
Sunday we have a big centennial celebration at church and Mike will be baptized. I'm sure there will be lots of pictures of that on Monday! This is kind of a big deal considering he was going to get baptized in April, but there wasn't enough participation so it was a wash. I am very happy he has decided to make this step in his Christian journey.
One last thing. There is a review site , S.I.M.P.L.E., their button is over on my sidebar too, they are giving away 3 pairs of shoes there so go enter, maybe you'll be the lucky winner! Go look at eleven collection, bugaboo shoes and Jack and Lily 'my shoes'. All three of these companies have extremely cute shoes that are soft and comfortable for your little ones toesies!
I hope everyone enjoys their weekend!

Hi Lis from Simple, we're quite the shoe week aren't we.
Is it one of your girls that needs blood work? I hope it goes well.
sounds like you have a busy weekend ahead.. What does Taylor need bloodwork done for??
I have to ask too, Why is Taylor having to have blood work?
What a blessing that Mike is being baptized. This is such an important step in a Christians life! :o) Not sure if I have ever asked this or not, what is your denomination? It really doesn't matter, I was just wondering. :o)
Hope you have a wonderful week-end.
I love popcorn and movie night on Friday nights. Hope you all have fun!
Have a great weekend talk with you soon.
Sounds like a good weekend! :)
Thanks Courtney for those links.
