Updates

Mike talked to his boss yesterday about quitting because he really wanted to give a two weeks notice, but if they call and he has to work afternoons like he is now he won't be able to give the notice. Both of his main bosses and the plant manager told him they understood and would count that toward his two week notice. Also, they told him if it doesn't work out, he could come back there since he never reports off and has excellent quality history. We were glad to hear that which makes the decision a little easier. We just need to know now if it's full time or just until Christmas. Once we know that we can make our decision which will probably mean he will be switching jobs.

As for the ticket, we still don't know how much it is, but I'm not going to stress about it. I told him before how I felt about it and if he isn't ready to grow up and pay attention, when he loses his license he has to figure things out, not me. So as long as he is prepared to work overtime to pay for it and deal with the consequences if it doesn't stop then I refuse to get stressed out about it. That is part of the reason I think I am getting these headaches - stress.

We aren't doing a lot this weekend, but we are finally having Callee's birthday party. There are a lot of June, July and August birthdays in my family so Callee is having a party with 3 other kids ages 10, 6, and 1. It's too hard to have them all separate with weddings and open houses through the summer so we all figured it would be easier this way.

I hope you all have a good weekend and I'm sure I will have lots of pictures on Monday.

Wow. I would have been terrified to talk to my old boss about quitting before I quit. It sounds like they really like him. I hope it all works out!

I hope Callee has a great time at her party!

I agree with you about the headaches and stress. You have to let Michael deal with the aftermath of the ticket not you. (I know that this is easier said then done)

I hope Callee has a wonderful party. Can't wait to see pictures!

Have a great week-end!!!
