A quick update and a meme

First I want to do a quick update that I wanted to do last Wednesday and didn't get time to do. I took Taylor back to the doctor because I just couldn't bear to go out of town and not know what was going on with that horrible cough. She still hadn't spiked another fever so I didn't think she was actually sick but she was coughing until she'd throw up and she couldn't catch her breath. I took her in and it turns out she has developed a little asthma. I'm so glad I decided to take her in.

New York was great and I'll write more about that with lots and lots of pictures in the near future.

Now for a meme that I was tagged with weeks ago and am just now getting around to doing. KC tagged me for a book meme.

Here are the rules:
Pick up the nearest book of at least 123 pages.
Open the book to page 123.
Find the 5th sentence.
Post the next 3 sentences.
Tag 5 people.

Currently I am reading Against All Odds by Chuck Norris with Ken Abraham. The next three sentences after the fifth sentence on page 123 say, I said to myself, I'm going to do the very best I am capable of doing and not worry about the difference in experience between the others and me.

When the film finished, everyone congratulated me on doing a commendable job. When I look back on the picture now, I realize that they were just being kind because I was not a very good actor.

Now I tag

Hi~

I have been MIA lately! Sorry!!! Lots going on around here. I have taken on another child to babysit and we are getting ready for my Grandma's 75th b-day bash. There will be 26 of us here to help her celebrate. And I am working on a scrapbook for her too!

Can't wait to see pictures of your NY trip.

And I am sorry to hear that Taylor is struggling with asthma. Are you having to do breathing treatments? Is she doing better now that you have found out?

I had asthma as a kid and eventually outgrew it. It does make coughs really bad and last forever and that is the only time mine ever acts up again.

Glad you had fun in NYC! I can't wait to hear all about it!

I just remembered to check my email today.. Got the one from you about the Zyrtec and I was going to respond back to you, that if it didn't work check with your doctor it could be an allergy induced asthma. Mr Man had that really bad asthma cough, but not at night when trying to sleep.. his was though the day while playing or doing any sort of running or walking.. It wasn't a true asthma but the cough from it was awful like he couldn't breath.. He started this when he was 2 1/2 or 3 years old. The doctor put him on zyrtec and singulair and he is still on both.. Only now the zyrtec is over the conter..
What sort of meds did they give her for the asthma??

Thanks for doing the tag.
