My weekend...

was not very rest full, but it was a great one.

Saturday I took Taylor to dance as I always do and when we got home Callee was just getting out of the bathtub so we all got ready to take the girls to Chuck E. Cheese's. We played there for almost 3 hours!!! It was a good time for the kids and Mike, until I beat him in the arcade basketball game. Of course, he couldn't let that stand so that is where he spent most of the day trying to beat my score until he finally did. After that, Mike and Josh took Taylor and Callee back to my house while I went grocery shopping.

When I got home the girls were laying down resting and I was getting ready to take Taylor to the movies. A friend of hers that is in her dance class and her mother went with us. We took them to see Enchanted at the dollar movie. Taylor did really well until the last 15 minutes when she wanted to get up and down and change chairs...she had had enough. I thought the movie was cute and her friend hated it. There are some mixed reviews in case you were thinking about watching it.

After the movie, I went to Wendy's to get some food and then we met Mike and Callee at my mom's for some dinner and game playing with my cousins. We played Imaginiff..., if you haven't played it you should. It is pretty entertaining. Mike and I and the girls left to go home and they all played another game while we got the girls ready for bed, then they came to our house to play games. We played Scene It Friends edition and the girls kicked booty! We are talking serious booty, like the girls won and the guys got to move maybe 2 spaces. I was only the reader so it wasn't me, but it made me happy after the Thanksgiving win the guys took.

Sunday was my laundry day since I didn't do much of it on Saturday. I start doing our first load and I needed to dry my hair so I was in the bathroom (where our laundry room is) and water starts spurting out of the pipe the washer gets drained into. Maybe I should try explaining this first. Our house is an older one and the bathroom was built as an addition after indoor plumbing came along. There is nothing under our bathroom, but the outside so our bathroom in the winter is always a lot colder than the rest of the house. This results in our pipes freezing in there. They are still not thawed and I'm not sure what we are going to do, but I do know that we really should rebuild our bathroom differently. So needless to say my laundry didn't get done.

After the girls went to bed, Mike and I watched the Packers - Giants game and I'm not sure how I feel about the outcome. I would have loved for Brett Favre to make it to another super bowl, but I think the Giants have a better chance against the Patriots and I don't want them to have a perfect season, not sure why I just don't. Anyways, I am telling you all this useless information because I wanted to know if anyone else saw the game and if they saw the 3 crazy women who had on jeans and bikini tops? I think those women were crazy. I mean it was -1 when the game started and -4 at the end. How does it make any sense to wear that? You couldn't have paid me to be outside period let alone wear that. It is 12 degrees here and I don't want to go out. I think there are some people who are so desperate for attention they will do anything, no matter how stupid the idea. Glad I got that off my chest.

How was everyone else's weekend? I look forward to reading about them and I am going to post a video and some pictures later. Come back and enjoy!

I had to laugh at the "off my chest" remark. I would imagine that they froze their b**bs right off of their chests...lol!!!!!

I was hoping for a Packer win! I love Brett. Do you think that he will come back next year? And I am hoping for a defeat for the Pats too. That is bad since Caleb is a Pats fan...lol!!! But I don't think a team that cheated (even in the first game this season) should be there!!! But what ever!

Hope you pipes thaw soon. :o)

Don't you just love Chuck E Cheese? DH and I go there for dates, the kids play and we get to visit.
