Crazy weekend...again

So this weekend was another crazy, busy weekend.

Friday, I went to dinner with Mike while my sister watched the girls. Then after we went home and the girls were in bed, I met up with my friend Jenn after our terrible weeks. It was great to spend time with her, we don't do it nearly enough, and I met up with an old friend of mine. That's a story for another day, let me just say it's a very small world!

Saturday the girls and I had plans to visit the zoo. Mike had his fantasy football draft that afternoon and was afraid we wouldn't make it back in time for that (we did and I tried to tell him we would, but he missed out.) It was raining so we went to the science center instead. It was a blast and we met Ashley and the two girls she used to babysit for at the center. The girls had a blast and wore themselves out and then we had a long drive home. After we got home we waited until Mike was leaving and then we went to get gas, cleaned out my car, stopped at Mike's dad and stepmom's to drop off fabric since she was making curtains for the girls' rooms, got dinner and drove through the car wash on the way home. I was exhausted and ready for some relaxation and reading, but Callee had other plans after ingesting way too much sugar.
Here are some pics from the science center:

CJ at his party!

More pics below.Sunday we went to church and then Callee laid down for a nap while I got distilled water for Taylor to do her sea monkey's and purchased a birthday gift for my nephew. When I got home and Taylor finished setting up her sea monkey's, I woke Callee up and we headed to the skating rink for CJ's party. We had a blast and were all exhausted by bedtime again. We stopped on the way home to pick up the curtains and then I went grocery shopping. After I got home we ate a snack, got the girls ready for bed and then headed there myself.

Work has been non stop for 2 days and it feels like it should be Thursday. I will be glad to have a 3 day weekend to enjoy, that's for sure.

Phew, what a busy weekend! Is that carnegie science center? I've been there once but that was a long time ago. Have you ever heard of the inventure place? That's out in Akron and I always LOVED that place.

And thanks for the moral support with the first day of Kindergarten. Gosh, who knew it was going to be so freaking traumatic?!?!?! And that was only the first child!

Jennie, yes it was the carnegie science center. We wanted to go to pittsburgh for something because Ashley always comes here, but that's where she's from. I've never heard of the place in Akron, but will have to look it up online. Thanks for the tip, we're always looking for things to do!

Hang in there with school. I about have a heart attack/anxiety attack daily and she only goes 1/2 a day. Look out next year!
