History

So today history was made by swearing in the first African American President. One thing I love about Obama is, he is an amazing public speaker. In the past with President's, I would hate when they had a speech to give during one of my shows, but Obama has great voice inflection and uses his words wisely. I realize they don't write their own speeches, but whoever does, does a fantastic job.

I have no idea what the next 4 - 8 years holds, but I am hopeful it is something worth sticking around for. Our country is a mess right now and I'm not sure anyone can turn it around, but I will support and pray for our President just like I did Bush (who I couldn't stand!) I think everyone should pray for our new President and be thankful we are not in his shoes.

I agree with you about speeches. And I too think President Obama has a way with words. His speech was wonderful today. :o)

I agree with you 100%

I posted about how I wish they would stop following his every move. The press have over cover him here in the Chicago area. I just want to know the important stuff at this point.

I pray he does well.

We shall see how the next 4 years go. Hopefully something will turn this economy around.

My husband is posting this for me.
I just wanted you to know I can’t read your blog because I can’t hear my screenreader above the sound of the music and can’t turn off your music.
But I am thinking of you and hope all is going well for you.
If you do turn off the music let me know so I can read your blog again.

Thanks

Good for you for praying and supporting whichever president your country has in power...no matter who they are, I'm sure they can always use the extra prayers!!

Thanks!!!! yea I can read again.

I think things are certainly going to be different if not interesting and I think t will also take a while to see some things change.
We were all sick this past week so wedidn't go driving, but they closed so many roads. Traffic is usually insane and I am sure it was much more this week.
I am also so thankful I didn't have to ride the metro.
