Good updates

I have a lot to update you all on. This week has definitely been a good one, especially when compared to the insurance company battles of last week.

Mike's car accident is finally completely straightened out. At first they said since we both had the same insurance company we did not have to pay our deductible, but it was still going on our policy and our rates would be raised in 6 months when we renew. I did not like that answer so we kept fighting. Yesterday they called and said it would go on the other driver's policy and we could go pick up our rental at noon today. My grandmother has been sweet enough to let us borrow her car up until this point, but I'm sure she'll be thrilled to have her car back as well.

On Tuesday I got a call from the doctor saying I could go get my meds for the narcolepsy. I had no idea if it was for the 30 the insurance company deemed necessary or the 60 the doctor felt necessary. I went to pick them up and found that I was authorized for all 60 pills! That was a relief and a blessing on it's own and then when I paid it was $10 cheaper than the original 30 pills were supposed to be. I'm not sure why and if they catch the mistake I'm sure we'll have to pay later, but I'll worry about that when we get to it. In the meantime I will just thank God for being the faithful and loving God he always is, even when it's hard to see in the midst of the storm.

As for Callee's room. The night before I went to buy the paint Callee says she wants to paint her room blue. Mike and I talked to her about this for a while because we wanted her room to represent her and we didn't want to paint it blue and then she wanted it pink since she has been saying she wants it pink for 3 months. Well after talking to her we decided to go with pink, but we also knew whatever I picked would be the wrong choice. Well, I was right. When I brought the paint home and told her it was pink she was excited, but said she wanted blue. When we painted, as soon as they got done, she looked around and my dad asked her if she liked it and she said, "No I wanted blue!" I knew that was going to happen whether I picked pink or blue, so no I do not regret painting it pink. I like the color and so does she. She still mentions the blue occassionally, but she isn't too heartbroken about it and says, "My next room can be blue." I guess when/if we move?

Those are the updates, happy Thursday everyone.
