Warning: long post

Our weekend wasn't too bad, but it flew by. We took the girls to Kraynak's (pictures below) and took Taylor to play practice at church. We didn't make it to Chuck E. Cheese's based on Taylor's behavior and if it continues through the week I will be taking Callee by herself. I will not reward bad behavior and it is going to be a tough lesson she'll have to learn.

Besides that all went well, I got most of the girls' gifts wrapped and we spent a lot of time at my parents. On Sunday Mike worked really hard and got Callee's room rearranged and put a twin bed in there for her. The girls sleeping together wasn't working out and Taylor didn't want Callee upstairs anymore. We will probably be painting Callee's room after Christmas, as soon as I find the right shade of pink. I still haven't taken any pictures of Cal's room, but the bedding we got is her. It looks great and I am so thankful that Mike got it done this weekend.

I went to the doctor yesterday because I have had a cold for about 5 weeks now and was tired of it. I found out I have strep, a sinus infection and bronchitis. That explains why I felt kinda crappy this weekend. She also noticed I have a heart murmur. I am not too worried about it because my pediatrician discovered it years ago and said that it wasn't really anything too bad and he didn't even run tests. This doctor wants to do an EKG because of the Lupus diagnosis. Lupus can eventually attack your organs so she wants to make sure it is still an innocent murmur since the pediatrician never did an EKG or anything. I have that on December 26.

Here are a just a few pictures from Kraynak's. I will be putting them all up on my facebook page hopefully by tomorrow if you want to see the rest.Taylor with Pluto in the background. She was very happy in this picture.Curious George flying by.Santa Mickey with his reindeer.Spongebob with the M & M'sAnother Bob as a Temporary Elf

Callee and I trying to get the flying Curious George between our heads, but clearly it didn't work out. I still like the picture!
What would a trip to Kraynak's be without good ole St. Nick? Doesn't it look real?

I hope you get to feeling better and soon! Let us know how the EKG goes. What is Kraynak's? It looks fun!

I agree on not rewarding the bad behavior. BTDT with Busy Boy. It's a hard lesson to learn but it's one they have to learn early on.

If you had strep, maybe Taylor does too. That could be a reason for bad behavior. When Noah used to get sick, he never complained about a sore throat, just acted way worse than usual.

I hope you feel better soon.

Hope all the test goes well.
Seperate bedrooms may work best. I wish I had that option for my next but right now we live in a two bedroom place.

Hope the rest of the week goes well too.

What cute pictures! Glad you got diagnosed - hopefully you will feel better soon. Billy and I are both sick with a bad cold right now - not feeling good at all.

Have a good week - Kellan
