Weekend Top 5

  1. Spending time with family. Friday Mike's sister came over to see the girls after work. While she was there I went grocery shopping and then picked up pizza. It was a good time spent with her and the girls always love when she comes over.

  2. Saturday we got to see our old friends and it was such a good time. I have missed them so much, but when I saw them it was like no time at all has passed. I do try and talk to them weekly, but lately it hasn't been panning out too well.

  3. Dinner with the old friends and the people who still live around here. We had a little potluck dinner with all of our friends at the church Saturday night. Our Pastor is one of those people who picks on you when he likes you. He must really love me because I get it all the time from him. He was eating what I had made on Saturday and said, oh this is really good. I said thanks, and his response was, "I didn't know you made this, in that case it's not that great!"

  4. Making pumpkin rolls. I stopped at my moms last night to pick something up and when I got there she said, "Oh did you come to help me make pumpkin rolls?" I helped her with two of them, but then had to go home because Mike had the girls and he had a lot of homework to do. After I got them in bed I went back over to finish helping her and had a good time just talking to my mom while we baked. That made for a late night getting to bed, but it was worth it. Have I ever mentioned how close I am to my mom or how much I love her?

  5. I hate to say this in case all doesn't go well today and I am jinxing myself, but Callee I believe is potty trained. She wore underwear to school today because she did so well over the weekend and she is so proud of herself. We are all very proud of her too and if all continues to go well this week we will be making a trip to Chuck E. Cheese this weekend! She will also get to go pick out a new baby for her huge accomplishment. No, I am not above bribing and I think this is a huge milestone for her. It will be money well spent because I will have to buy very few diapers now. (She'll still wear them at night because this mom doesn't like to get up and change sheets. I think Taylor had 8 months of dry pull ups before I would let her sleep in underwear. I really hate being woke up.)

I hope everyone elses weekend went well and I'll be around to read about them.

Yea Callee! Last night Aaron was out of nighttime pull ups and we decided to let him try underwear. he stayed dry all night but I still can;t decided if this was a fluke or if we should try every night in underwear. I waited until Noah was almost five and he asked me so I knew he was ready.

Sound like a fun weekend of family and friends. Way to go Callee on the potty training.. I'm with you.. they can have a year of dry pull ups at night before they can sleep in underpants.. I'm to lazy to have to wash the sheets and blankets and get up in the middle of the night to change a wet child or put new sheets and blankets on the bed. I still have Little Man in pull ups at night.

Sounds like you had a great week-end! That is really great to hear about Callie being potty trained. Night was harder for Caleb and Brayden but Andrew has done really well at night! I don't buy any diapers anymore! Most times I walk buy them I try to pick up a pack since I have bought diapers for close to 10 years. It is soooo nice to not have to buy any more. :o)

Great on the potty training.
We have good days and bad here still, but only a pull up at night.
Gregory wants to go back to diapers but if we do that things will backfire.

Enjoy your weekend
