Thursday 13 - 13 reasons why I love Thanksgiving

  1. The food - I craved Thanksgiving dinner the entire time I was pregnant with Taylor

  2. Spending time with family - I do this a lot anyway

  3. A relaxing day - I go to my mom's for Thanksgiving so I have none of the prep work, etc. right now.

  4. A paid day off work - One of only a few

  5. The best nap ever - I live for naps what can I say?

  6. Playing games - I like to play games and the more people that play the more fun I have.

  7. Did I mention the food? - I can't help it my mouth is watering just thinking about it

  8. Seeing all my family - They all come so it's nice to see everyone under one roof at the same time

  9. Don't have to wake up early - I love sleep

  10. Don't have to work the next day - I hate my job

  11. Usually people are in a good mood - Although we do have a lot of fights in the past that happened on Thanksgiving.

  12. Pumpkin Pie - The only time of year I get it

  13. Thanksgiving day parade - I try to watch it all, but usually miss about an hour in the middle. We're always back in time for Santa though.

Why do you all like Thanksgiving (assuming you like it?)

Thanksgiving is my favortie Holiday by far. I love the food but mostly I love being with my brothers and sisters who are all married with kids too. We hang out all day and laugh and play games and eat tons of great food. By far the best day of the year for me.

All of the above... Love the food, love the family time. did I mention the food LOL... Though we don't have a tradition of games on Thanksgiving unless you count watching football.. but games would be fun, that is normally saved for Christmas with our group.. but This year my sister will be home(from TX) with her girls and so maybe we can get some games going.

BUT I do have some running to do on Thanksgiving.. because we have a Thanksgiving dinner at Noon at my MIL's with all my husbands brothers and here family then a Thanksgiving dinner with my family at my grandparents with my uncle , my parents and my brother and sister and there families.

Great job on your first T13. I warn you now, it's addictive and usually my favorite post of the week to write.

Why do I love THANKSgiving, because of the thanks without the giving part. What I mean is, it's a time to be thankful but there is no pressure to spend money and give gifts.

You could donate food to the poor if you want things of that nature but no pressure that's what I love. Just be thankful.

And I can't forget to mention I do love the food.

I am with you..the FOOD! I also like spending time with our family when we get the chance. This year we are going to CA so we will get to see a lot of family. I am happy about that!
