A shame

Have you heard about this? I must be in the dark because I just saw it yesterday. There are so many questions surrounding this case, but he seemed very clear in saying he didn't know what happened until questioned a little further. Then he just kept repeating, I might have accidentally shot the gun. Here is a little video and here is another if you are interested.

It seems to me that this was released because it wouldn't be admissible in court. The child sounds scared and only saying what he thinks they want him to say. I don't understand what these cops were thinking leading him into a confession (whether guilty or not) without a parent or guardian.

Here is his mother speaking to Diane Sawyer about how she feels about her son and whether she thinks he is guilty or innocent. My question? Why was custody taken away from her and is her being around the best thing for her son? This is a very confusing case and I will be following it as everything unravels.

I think this is just crazy the police had this boy alone without his mother and was aloud to question him till he admitted to killing his father. Can you imagine what he must live with now. What a terrible thought to put in a childs head. It's bad enough he found them, but to make him think he did it. Those police are monsters.

If you see the entire questioning at first he says he found them, and he didn't do it, he doesn't know what happened. But they (police) keep pushing till they get the answers they want. Like always in a confession situation. Why do you think innocent people go to jail. In this situation an 8 year old will being going to jail, this is so sad what's going on. It just breaks my heart.

Since this took place in our "backyard" so to speak, it's been all over the news. It's shocking to say the least but the other side is that the kid supposedly bragged to his friends that he was going to take out his father. They suspect this little boy has been abused by his dad for a long time so it's all just a big fat shame that it came to this. I don't see the little boy getting convicted at least. It's a horrible situation all the way around.
