Does anyone with young girls have this book? Taylor got it for her birthday and loves it. We read it countless times everyday and when I said I've read it enough, she pouts. It's about a little girl who loves the color pink. One day she eats too many pink cupcakes and turns pink herself (pinkitis) and the doctor tells her to eat green foods to counteract the pinkness, but she doesn't and turns red. You can read it to find out the rest.
There is one part in there and it mentions a type of flower. I am not a gardener and don't know a lot, I just buy what looks pretty. I struggled over this word last night and Taylor looks so sweetly up at me and says, "It's okay mom, just say flower. I'll know what you mean."
I guess it could have been worse, she could have known how to pronounce it!
One more cute Taylor story. When I went to pick them up from daycare, the teacher that is there in the afternoon took me aside and told me how well behaved both of my kids were. She said they were such good listeners and a lot of the kids that go there are not like that so I should be proud. On the way home I told Taylor how proud I was of her (Callee too) and she asked if she could have a sticker. I told her she gets 2 from today and asked if Mike remembered to give her the one from yesterday I asked him to give her that morning. She said no so I told her she'd get 2 from today and 1 from yesterday. Without hesitation she said, "Great! I get 3 stickers cuz one plus two is three." I asked her how she knew that and her response was, "Cuz I'm 4 now. You need to know these things when you're 4!" Okay then, excuse me!
Have a great weekend everyone! Happy Mother's Day to all the lovely ladies that read my blog.

Have a good weekend and a good Mother's Day - see ya - Kellan
that sounds like a cute book...one my 10 year old would have loved when she was younger. her favorite book was about a little girl who wore her tutu everywhere until she realized it was much more comfortable to wear it only in ballet class.
xoxo
It does feel good when people think the kids our great.
Enjoy your mothers day!
Cute counting

That is too cute! Happy Mother's Day!!!
Too cute! I just love the things that kids say.
Oh, I will have to get this book for my grand-daughter's...it is so cute. Happy belated Mother's Day!
Cute stories, but I especially love the flower comment! And you're right...if she had known how to pronounce the flower, it would have been worse!!
Hope you had a great Mother's Day!
