It's Hump Day

Ahhh...it's Hump Day. At 1:00 I will be half way through my week and that is music to my ears. I have nothing planned for this weekend which will be wonderful. The girls are going to stay with their grandma (Mike's mom) and I want to do nothing. Maybe we'll go out to dinner and watch a movie at home, but if we don't, I won't mind at all. After the weekend last weekend I just want to relax.

I have one more meeting for work and then the rest of the week should be smooth sailing. Work hasn't been going terrible lately, but because I look so forward to the weekends the weeks seem to drag. This week I am trying to take it one day at a time and although things aren't moving as fast as I'd like them to, it isn't dragging either.

The shopping trip after work yesterday went well. We only had one incident with Taylor, but it was while we were standing in line to check out and I think she had had enough. After the store we went home and ate. After dinner both the girls went upstairs to their playroom to play. While they were playing I got my kitchen and dining room cleaned and Mike had all ready picked up the living room before he left for work so I also ran the sweeper in there. Overall it was a good night with a few hiccups, but nothing major.

Tonight is bath night so after the girls are finally in bed (bath nights they get to bed a little later than I'd like) I am going to watch all the shows I have DVR'd this week. I hope everyone is having a good week too and taking it "one day at a time."

UPDATE: I just read Kellan's blog. Go read her post from the news and be sure to watch the video. My friend the celebrity.

I'm glad shopping went well. The way I get through shopping with Aaron is I get a quarter pound of salami at the deli and stretch out how many pieces I give to him at a time while we're shopping. I try to make it last until we are almost done checking out.

Dinner and a movie sounds really nice - you need to definitely try to do that!! I'm glad the grocery shopping went well - it can be a chore, that is for sure.

Thanks for mentioning my post - you are a good friend Courtney - the best!!

Take care - Kellan

I am glad things are going well. Your weekend sounds heavenly. I'd love a weekend with out the kids and to just do nothing or something if we felt like it. :-)

Hub's surgery was today. I posted an update. Sorry I have been MIA the last few days!

I left my son with his Grandmama when I went to the grocery store the other day and it was GREAT! I stayed for over an hour just browsing through the aisles, taking my time in deciding what to buy...and I was only at the grocery store. Who knows how long I'd of stayed if I was at the mall!

Of course, as soon as I left the grocery store I hurried back to Grandmama's to get my little munchkin!
