Thank you and everywhere

This post will probably be everywhere today. So bear with me and if you don't understand something, don't worry I probably didn't understand it either!

First of all, I want to say thank you for all of you kind comments on "Why did I have a 2nd child?" I didn't know if I wanted to write the post because I have a lot of new readers and I didn't know if it would chase them away or make them think, "This lady is crazy and mean," but it didn't. I am also glad I asked because I got a lot of suggestions which I've started using and I'll let you know how things progress in the future. And for the record, I LOVE both of my kids very equally. I would never say "I could live without (fill in a name here)."

I was tagged for a meme that I'll do on Monday because in case you can't tell I don't post on the weekends. That is time for my husband and kids since it's the only time we are all together! And I can't post today because Kellan made me remember a hilarious story from the other day that I wanted to share.

Taylor and I sometimes take a bath together. It's been like this since she was 10 months and it's not all the time. After she said this, I'm not sure it'll happen again! Monday night I was telling her we needed to get out so I could dry her hair and get her to bed because it was getting late (and she has school the next day, which I didn't tell her.) She asked to play just for a few more minutes. I told her I was getting out and when I finished getting dressed she needed to get out too. She was excited about that answer so I got out and began to dry off. She looks up at me so sweetly and says, "Wow mom, your butt is HUGE!!!" I said nothing. What could I say? She's right and I have been dieting so thank goodness she didn't notice this a couple of months ago. Do you need an honest opinion? Ask a toddler/preschooler, they are VERY honest!

I hope everyone has a good weekend!

Kids can say the darnest things! At least it wasn't announced in front of a ton of people ;)

Have a wonderful weekend.

Kids are just sometimes too darned honest or blunt, aren't they? But, I always try to remember that just because they say something is "huge" or "big" it is all relative - everything is huge to them - right? Funny story!! Have a good weekend Courtney - see you later. Kellan

That is a really cute and funny story. my girls seem to say things like that, even when I have been losing weight and dieting, ugh. I found you through kellan, your girls are adorable.

That is one for the scrap/baby book :-) Kids are so honest some time. I got my hair cut the other night after the kids were in bed, when I went to pick them up at daycare, my oldest yells across the room "MOMMY WHAT DID YOU DO TO YOUR HAIR???" Ah..thanks Bug. She later said she liked it but I was about ready to die. LOL It is cut different than I have had in the past and she just did not recognize me at first. LOL

Have a great weekend!

Ah kids they come up with some wacky comments! At least your child said it to you and not to a perfect stranger like my 3 year old did one day in the store, talk about mortified, but he was right. They just call them as they see them.

I am new to your blog, I saw a link from Kellan's blog to yours, I will be back and I encourage you to check out mine too.
