Food Meme and My Weekend.

Scrappy Chicklet has tagged me for a food meme.

1. Link to your tagger and post these rules.
2. Share 5 facts about yourself.
3. Tag 5 people at the end of your post and list their names (linking to them)
4. Let them know they've been tagged by leaving a comment at their blogs.

1. I have started planning and preparing our dinners the weekend before the week begins. The only problem I have is not everything tastes so good heated up. This keeps me from eating like a pig though.
2. I try not to make the same things over and over again, but Mike is so picky that there are only so many things he'll eat.
3. I will be making my own spaghetti sauce this weekend. My mom does this and I love it. I hate store bought spaghetti sauce and so the days I make spaghetti I either eat something
else or I don't eat at all. Hopefully this will begin to change.
4. I don't bake at all. Mike is the baker. I don't eat a lot of sweets so I don't make them either.
5. All this talk about food is making me hungry, but it's too early for lunch.

Now I tag:

Now for my weekend. Mike and I had a whole evening/night to ourselves. Mike's mom kept the girls over night Saturday night. We went to her house about 2:30 to get them used to being there (they've never stayed the night there) and then we left about 5:30. We went shopping at Sam's Club and taking Mike with you is just asking to spend more money! Then we went to BW3's and had some wings. We went back home and cleaned after making a short stop at my mom's and I was in bed by 11:30. It was so nice. I slept in until 9:15. I woke up at 8 and thought I'm not getting up yet, the girls aren't home and I'm going to sleep in, so I did.

We took Callee's pack and play to Mike's moms for her to sleep in, but when we picked them up she said Callee didn't want to sleep in there, she wanted to sleep on the air matress with Taylor so she did. My baby slept in a big girl bed for the first time and it wasn't at my house. I am sad and proud all at the same time. That was the highlight of my weekend so that is all I will talk about. I hope everyone elses weekend was good and went slow.

How nice to have some time with your hubby - I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Those babies do grow up too fast - don't they?

Have a good day, Courtney - see you later. Kellan

Lucky you, time alone AT HOME with the hubby. Nice-

My little Morgie is in a big girl bed now, and potty trained, they grow up so fast.

I do menu planning too. I did not do one last week (due to company in town) and it drove me NUTS! You will get used to and learn to rely on it. Feel free to browse the links on my site to Menu Plan Monday for great menu ideas too!

The night without the kids sound great! I am glad you had a nice relaxing morning! Way to go to Callee for sleeping in a big girl bed..even if it was at grandma's house!
