Sunday - We got up and went to church. After church Callee laid down for a nap and Taylor and I were supposed to go meet Jenn and Addison at the rib burn off and Mike and Callee were going to join us when she woke up. There were threats of storms so we decided to wait it out. Two hours later there were still no storms so we all ventured out (Mike and Callee too.) We got in and played a game and then got our food and went to sit down under the huge tents. Mike and I kept Addison while Jenn went to get her food. 5 minutes after she left this huge torrential downpour started and she got stuck in it, but I was glad we kept Addison with us so she didn't get rained on. Jenn looked like a drowned rat by the time she got back to the tent. Two minutes after she got back it stopped raining. That would be Jenn's luck. We played a few more games and then listened to the bands playing. After that it was time to go home. We had to stop at Mike's dads house to print off some resumes to send out to various employers for Mike and then we finally made it home around 6:30. It was then time to eat, get baths, do hair and get to bed to start our Monday's.
Mike is on day turn this week so it will be good to have him home with us. I get my new camera on Wednesday so I promise there will be pictures later in the week. Here is an old one of my little Callee just after Christmas when she was about 6 1/2 months old.

That little baby is going to be 2 in 9 days. She breaks my heart growing up that fast!
Cute baby picture! Yes, they grow up so fast....
ReplyDeleteWhat a busy weekend. Then back to work.
I got up really early today. I have the day off but wanted a little 'alone' time while the grandkids are all still sleeping out in the tipi tent.
What a cutie - she's going to be two!?! Sounds like you had a good weekend - aside from the car.
ReplyDeleteTake care - Kellan
Wow. Where does the time go? Bummer about the car. Did you get it today? Sounds like a fun and exciting (weather) weekend :)
